East Garrison Village
When Woodman Development Company was selected by the County of Monterey to be the master developer of its redevelopment property at the former Fort Ord, a unique public/private partnership was born. This project will be the finest example of the new urbanism or traditional neighborhood design (TND) in Monterey County, creating a pedestrian-friendly community around a lively town center with an integrated arts community. Its compact design inlcludes a full spectrum of housing types fully integrated with one another to achieve a truly diverse community. This visionary community will be the largest redevelopment project in Monterey County history and sets a new benchmark for all future development.
