Woodman Development Company, Inc. has been building communities in Monterey County for over four decades. The company was originally founded by Bill Silva in Southern California as one of a network of real estate related companies and was expanded to the central coast of California in the 1970s. The Silva family roots in Monterey County date back to the turn of the century when William P. Silva (Bill's grandfather) was one of Carmel's founding artists.
